Nonon Jakuzure (Rule 63): Salute

The other Kill La Kill cosplay I debuted at Fanime, this is my genderbent Nonon! I did marching band in high school and was actually drum major my junior year, so for this genderbent version, I was able to draw on my experiences in band to develop a male band uniform for Nonon.

- The shoes were thrift store finds, painted a very very light blue.
- The pants are what they call "bibbers" and were bought from a marching band supply website. They're essentially overalls that the jacket is worn over.
- Gauntlets and gloves were also purchased from the band supply website
- The jacket is made from scatch with suiting polyester, dyed from white to a very very light blue. It was based on a military costume jacket pattern, and zips up the back as a true band uniform does. 
- Wig is from ebay
- The marching band hat (called a "shako") was purchased off ebay and then painted with the same light blue as the shoes. White craft foam, white and pink acrylic paints, and white feathers were used for the details. The monkey skull was formed out of Sculpey, and the center plume was made from a feather boa wrapped around a loop of wire.
- The baton (mace) is the actual marching band mace I used in high school. The shaft is normally black, so I had to remove the chain, wrap the shaft in pink tape, and then reattach the chains.
